I've just received the life-history (since ringing) of the Turnstone I spotted on New Years day.
It was ringed at Snettisham on 18th Nov 2012 and so it hasn't travelled far yet. The reply also had the message that all sightings of colour ringed birds are valuable.
I also saw a colour ringed Sanderling whilst at Titchwell, which is at least eleven years old and a regular wintering bird on the North Norfolk coast. It had two orange plastic rings on its left leg and single white plastic and metal rings on its right leg.
